A near record number of members attended the HFRA's Winter Meeting at the Hamden Elks on January 9th. Brian Forsyth and the staff at the Elks once again prepared a fine meal for us. Bob Surprise, who retired on November 30th, was welcomed as the Association's newest member.
This was how it looked as twenty-eight members began assembling at the Elks for the 21st meeting of the Association.

The two Eds - Doiron and Kopjanski both worked together at 5's on Platoon 2 thirty-five years ago. This was the first time they'd seen each other since Ed Kopjanski retired nearly thirty years ago.
