ROB CALLAHAN is the son of the late Robert "Ace" Callahan (HFD, Ret.) and current HFRA honorary member Nancy Callahan. We have just learned that Rob is suffering from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease).
Rob is a musician. His many friends in the music world have scheduled an all-day benefit concert in Hamden on Saturday, May 31st to help Rob and his family. We hope that our website visitors will spread the word about the concert among their friends and perhaps lend some support.

A Benefit for Robbie's Fund for Life
Robbie of String Band has been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease), a terminal illness.
This is a benefit show to help with his expenses . . . .
We are utilizing The Ballroom at the Outer Space, 295 Treadwell St. Hamden, CT 06514 (both venues) for this event.
Bands will play on both stages at staggered times (times will be announced). Please note that this is a day long event from 2 p.m. on Saturday till closing time, with an awesome line-up of some great local bands.
*** On the Ballroom Stage ***
NOT HERE - 3-4 p.m.
IRON FUDGE - 4:30-5:30 p.m.
STRING BAND and FRIENDS - 7-7:30 p.m.
LEGION OF JERRY - 8:30-10 p.m.
SHAKEDOWN - 10:30-12 a.m.
BLESSED AND GIFTED - 12-Closing

ART SHOW - There will be an exhibit of local artists' work, available for sale, in the hallway between The Outer Space and the Ballroom. These are artists Robbie has supported, encouraged, and believed in and we are grateful to be given the chance to show our gratitude and appreciation for our friend.
