February 12, 1953 - Country Club Pharmacy at the corner of Whitney and Putnam. An early morning fire did $50,000 in damages to this Whitneyville landmark. We have more photos and several newspaper accounts of this fire for a future posting in the "Action" section. (New Haven Evening Register staff photo)
